Cooking with a friend, child, or partner can also foster intimacy and connection. When we cook, our energy is transferred into the food. Always have a mindset of gratitude for the food you are preparing. Love is the secret ingredient.

Healthy eating should be fun, not complicated!

Food as Medicine Tip: Start by adding in one plant-based meal per week. Organic and local produce is best.

Donna’s Personal Food Journey

Donna's transformative relationship with food started in childhood, where her love for ice cream led to struggles with weight. Over time, she embraced a ovo-vegetarian lifestyle, effortlessly maintaining a healthy weight. Donna understands the challenges of altering eating habits, recognizing the emotional ties we all have with food. She cautions against relying on short-lived diets and trends, knowing that reverting to old eating patterns leads to weight regain. Donna advocates for a fundamental shift in our perception of food, urging us to integrate nutritious eating habits into our everyday lives for lasting change.

  • 1/2 watermelon large, seedless, cut into chunks

  • 1 Tbsp lime juice
